Wandering to Salmon Pools in the South West, Western Australia.

We’d arrived at Salmon Pools in the Torndirrup National Park near Albany, where the rocky granite bluffs and heath-covered dunes met the blue waters of the Isthmus Bay. Salmon Pools is known as one of the best spots in the South West for beach fishing. The waves here can often be fairly wild and unpredictable, so it was fortunate we were able to capture this beautiful little bay at a calm moment. As we wandered about, we admired the contrast between the turquoise waters, the curving, wide sandy beach and the jagged cliffs. The beauty of the bay, shaped by the forces of nature over centuries, was a serene yet powerful display of the wild Australian coast.
