Wandering through Nyhavn in the late afternoon.

Nyhavn (“New Harbour”) is the unofficial postcard of Copenhagen. We wandered around this iconic waterfront on a cold winter’s afternoon. Despite the chilly weather, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the hum of conversations and music drifted across the air from the many bars, cafes and restaurants. The golden afternoon light glowed on the colourful, historic townhouses lining the waterfront.  The masts of old wooden ships moored along the canal’s edges were silhouetted against a deepening sky. It was the perfect backdrop for a stroll along the canal - the charm of Nyhavn was undeniable.
